Equestrian Committee
  • Chairwoman: Nan Martin

  • Co-Chairwoman: Paty Barr

The Equestrian Committee is comprised of a diverse group of dynamic individuals that have experience in various equestrian related businesses and non-profit organizations. The activities of the committee have a significant impact to both the chamber members and the equestrian community in Wellington.

Two of our best chamber events that reflect our mission statement perfectly are the Business Showcase and the Golf Cart Polo. The Business Showcase is held at the National Horse Show in December. At this great event, equestrian and community members have the opportunity to meet and speak with chamber organizations about their goods and services. The Golf Cart Polo event is an unforgettable afternoon of fun, food and memories where teams compete for the golf cart polo championships! This is co-sponsored with the Rotary Club of Wellington and held at the International Polo Club.

As the Committee Chair of the Equestrian Committee, I would like to invite you to participate in our events and get involved in our wonderful equestrian community. There is no other place in the world where you can watch world class stadium jumping, dressage and polo on the same day! Additionally, I ask you to utilize this Chamber Directory and the Equestrian Section as your resource, and if you like it, pass it on! We would like to continue to expand this section in the future, and we welcome your comments and suggestions as well.

Additional information on the committee and equestrian area events can be found at www.wellingtonchamber.com. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to e-mail me at nan@nemhj.com or Michela at info@wellingtonchamber.com.
