Wellington Chamber of Commerce

PURPOSE STATEMENT
To facilitate discussion and decision-making to improve highway transportation in the Wellington area.

GOALS

Facilitate communication between Chamber, City, County, and Florida Department of Transportation, and work to fashion acceptable and publicly agreeable goals
Actively engage its members in the implementation of road way construction plans, emphasizing economic growth while improving quality of life
Advocate support in appropriate City and County highway transportation priorities and projects
Educate the public on importance of transit modifications and other highway transportation issues
Gather and disseminate input from local officials and members
Identify and cooperate with other entities, organizations, or groups with a stake in highway transportation

BENEFIT STATEMENT
Improved development of transportation and intersecting roadway plans and implementations, in addition to other highway transportation improvements, will maintain economic growth and quality of life, benefiting all segments of Chamber membership.
