AMBASSADORIAL COMMITTEE
CHAIRPERSONS  Stuart Hack and Arlene Smith  

Host Committee of the Chamber Ribbon Cuttings and Events.  The Ambassadors strive to serve and retain member businesses in the Chamber of Commerce for the development of a stronger Chamber, stronger community and more vibrant business climate.

BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT                                                                                                                                                                                            CHAIRMAN  Michael Menchise 

This Committee is  dedicated to help create opportunities for economic development through desirable business growth, expansion, retention and attraction in working as partners to develop a climate conducive in maintaining the quality of life in Wellington.  This committee strives to accomplish this mission through;

Serving as a conduit between the commercial economic interests in Wellington and the municipal government.

Encouraging the economic well-being and expansion of the existing commercial businesses located within Wellington.

Responsibly assisting in developing properties in an effort to improve the aesthetics of the village while providing additional revenue; and reviewing ordinances, policies, and practices to determine their impact on existing and proposed commercial businesses.

EQUESTRIAN COMMITTEE
CHAIRWOMEN : Jane Springer and Carrie Wirth 

Mission: To increase economic and social interaction between the Wellington Equestrian community, the Wellington Business Community and Wellington residents overall through leadership, advocacy and education.  The Equestrian Committee is comprised of a diverse group of dynamic individuals that have experience in various equestrian disciplines, lifestyle, related businesses and non-profit organizations.  The activities of the committee have a significant impact to both the chamber members and the equestrian community in Wellington.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE ( AS NEEDED)

Mission: To provide leadership, information, and advocacy that enhances the economic environment and represents the political interests of the Wellington business community. To develop cooperative relationships with organizations and to establish and nurture positive working relationships with local, state and national elected officials.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS COMMITTEE
CHAIRWOMAN: Jenn Cohen 
Mission: To inform and educate the community while promoting the health and wellness professionals who are members of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.  This committee is a resource for Chamber members regarding health, wellness, spiritual, and safety issues as it pertains to quality of life matters in Wellington.

SMALL BUSINESS COMMITTEE
Mission: To provide educational opportunities and workshops, technical assistance and think tank roundtables to small business owners/entrepreneurs looking to locate, expand and maintain their business in Wellington. To give such organizations expertise through speakers bureaus, workshops and networking events. To develop a business networking group within the Chamber Membership that helps members cross-sell products that will improve sales growth and reduce expenses.

WOMEN OF THE WELLINGTON CHAMBER COMMITTEE
CHAIRWOMAN: Jennifer Hernandez 
Mission: To further develop the “women helping women” concept by bringing new and exciting business educational opportunities and connections to women business leaders of the Chamber that are Chamber Members. There will be bi-monthly meetings and special events where women will have an opportunity to present their businesses and specialties, as well as to share referrals and advice with one another in a professional setting. Members should represent a variety of business specialties which will create a dynamic collaboration, i.e. Business owners, Medical Professionals, Educators, Entrepreneurs or high level industry representatives.
