From the Wellington Chamber Health and Wellness Committee
Over the last 12 years, Wellington has evolved into a medical and wellness hub for Palm Beach County and the surrounding areas. No longer do you need to travel far to seek the best medical care, fitness facilities or wellness centers; it is all right here in your backyard. Because of our growing population, we are able to sustain this growth with the leaders of the medical and wellness industry to achieve optimal health from the inside out.
Our diverse population here in Wellington has drastically driven growth of our Health & Wellness Committee, which encompasses a variety of professionals offering conventional care to alternative options and physical fitness.
The medical industry has vastly changed with the times. In this world of instant gratification, gone are the days of far parking and long walks to meet your medical needs. Wellington has a variety of options, such as boutique medical centers, that offer same-day appointments with in-house payment options, so everyone is able to receive personalized care. Some of our larger hospitals have opened satellite locations so you can experience the same high-quality care with a shorter wait time. It is easy to find the best care in our area for every stage of life, from prenatal to adolescent to senior services.
Outside of conventional medical care, people are turning to more holistic and natural approaches. CBD oils, Salt therapy, acupuncture, stem cell treatments, cupping, essentials oils and chiropractic medicine are all becoming ways to heal the body mentally and physically. Physical fitness plays a huge part in our health-conscious community, and is growing fast. People are no longer intimidated to enter the huge gym setting to accomplish goals but now can find exactly what they are looking for through many different options. You can find every workout you are looking for right here in Wellington, such as cycling, Pilates, boxing, barre and yoga for all ages to achieve your best self.
Small businesses are the backbone of a community and Wellington is no exception. A variety of health and wellness-related small businesses are literally on every corner, which allows Wellington to offer its residents every resource available to achieve optimal health without traveling far. The Wellington community loves and supports its small businesses, making it a desired place to live and a great opportunity for businesses to thrive.
